History Of Hemp

In 1619, because hemp was such an important resource, it was illegal not to grow hemp in Jamestown, Virginia. Massachusetts and Connecticut had similar laws. During the 1700’s, subsidies and bounties were granted in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, North & South Carolina, and the New England states to encourage hemp cultivation and the manufacturing of cordage and canvas. Unfortunately, these actions failed to establish a permanent hemp industry in any of these states.

Most hemp used for naval purposes was imported. During the first six months of 1770, the colonies imported over 400 tons of hemp from Great Britain, 3,400 tons in 1800, and about 5,000 tons were imported each year between 1820 and 1840, which compares to the domestic production in the 1800’s, usually in the 5,000-10,000 ton range, except in the 1840s and ’50s when 30,000-plus tons of hemp were annually produced.

Hemp was an important crop from Colonial times through World War II, when it was last widely planted across the country for the war effort. In fact More than 120,000 pounds of hemp fiber was needed to rig the 44-gun USS Constitution, America’s oldest Navy ship affectionately called “Old Ironsides.”

So Where did all of that hemp fiber come from? It came from the cannabis sativa fields of patriotic Revolutionary War-era farmers who originally grew the fibrous crop for the British Crown. Strong fibers formed strong nations in the pre-industrial age, and hemp was strategically important during the Revolutionary War. NOW its time we use HEMP to rebuild the new Land of Free for the Moors of Amexem!

    Hi
I have been accepted as industrial hemp research grower in NYS for 2018 season. I’m planning on starting with 10 acres. Do you purchase the entire plant from Growers like myself? The seed I’ll use is certified from Canada and it is named “Canada”.
    Thank you,
    Sarah Gill Ph.D.

Wow thats awesome news!…But yes we could definitely arrange a Conference call with you and Set up a Wholesale deal where we can Buy the Plants Straight From you at a Base price. Basically all you would have to do is GROW, and we would have a team of people come with the Check & Trucks to come pick up the produce.

Thanks again for your immediate reply.

Ok, I want to understand it but still not clear.

When I unscrew the Golden Tip that it is smoked out of, will it be connected to the pen charger? Or not?
When i tried to do it, I took the small plastic cover that it had out and it just pored out the exit. Losing CBD, when I realized it. When I left the plastic on, the drops did not go down. How do I fill in the glass tube? Does it get filled, or does it only take a few drops?
I am sure it is very easy, however I am challenged because I had never done it.

I did charge the pen, and it turned in well. Thank you. Now, questions about that. How long do I hold the button? How often can I press it?

    Thanks again for your help.
